Costin Custom Communications was established in 2006 as a full service marketing communications firm. Our mission is to create communications that connect buyers and sellers, both in print or online. The company serves clients involved in a wide range of markets: from construction and foodservice to local business. Publishers rely on Costin Custom Communications to drive sales of both advertising and custom publishing services. About the Founder

Before starting the company, Joanne Costin managed marketing, custom publishing and events for the Reed Foodservice Group. Costin holds six awards for communications excellence and brings more than 25 years of experience to your projects. Areas of expertise include foodservice, heavy construction, trucking, commercial building, security and building supply markets.

She is a skilled marketing strategist, project manager and writer with access to a network of experienced freelance writers and designers. Your company gains access to the right talent for your marketing challenge without requiring extensive overhead. 

Costin holds an MBA in marketing from DePaul University and a bachelor’s degree in advertising from the University of Illinois. In the Fall of 2006, she spoke before the Construction Writer’s Association and the Chicago Chapter of the American Society of Business Press Editors.
